The Story Behind waypack

A few years ago, my brother traveled from Romania to Málaga, Spain, and realized he had forgotten his driver's license at home. He needed it urgently the very next day.

The fastest solution available was an international express courier service. I had to drive to another city to find a Express office and send a simple envelope containing the license. The delivery cost nearly €100 for something that weighed only a few grams.

During that moment, I started thinking: there must be a better way.

Thousands of people travel every day between cities and countries with empty space in their luggage. At the same time, thousands of others need to send important documents, forgotten items, gifts, or small packages as quickly as possible.

What if those two groups of people could connect?

That simple question became the foundation of waypack.

Our vision is to create a trusted community where travelers can help transport small packages and documents along routes they are already taking, while senders gain access to faster and often more convenient delivery options.

waypack isn't trying to replace traditional courier companies. Instead, we're building a new way of moving items — powered by people, trust, and existing journeys.

Sometimes the best ideas come from everyday problems. waypack started with one forgotten driver's license and a €100 courier bill. Today, we're working to turn that experience into a platform that helps people connect and deliver smarter.
